Jerry to lecture in Daytona Beach

Jerry will be giving a lecture on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m., at the Southeast Museum of Photography in Daytona Beach, Florida. A book signing and reception will follow. See the announcement for more information. The lecture is presented by the Southeast Center for Photographic Studies.
Jerry and Maggie’s exhibition of new photographs and digital prints open August 6 at the Telluride Gallery of Fine Art from 5:30-7:30 pm at the gallery. The show will be on view until September 6. Telluride Inside … and Out has a podcast of Jerry discussing a photograph from the show.
ModernBook Announces Uelsmann Publication for 2010

ModernBook announced its upcoming publication, The Mind’s Eye: Photographs by Jerry Uelsmann, due out in 2010. See the announcement (including a link to the announcement as a pdf) on their website here. The book will be available as a limited edition with the image Poet’s House as well as a regular edition. It features essays by A.D. Coleman and Phillip Prodger. Purchasing information is available here.
Jerry and Maggie’s show will be opening at the Telluride Gallery of Fine Art, Telluride, Colorado on August 6.

Jerry’s newest exhibition “Outside In: The Transformative Vision of Jerry Uelsmann” opened at the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on May 15. The show runs through June 7.

Jerry and Maggie’s joint show “Just Suppose” at the the Trinity University Gallery in the Ruth Taylor Fine Arts Center was just reviewed by the San Antonio Express-News. “Just Suppose” will be on view through April 4.
Retrospective Opens in Taipei!

Jerry’s retrospective, Imaginary Space, which ran from May 30 to July 15, 2007 at the Beijing World Art Museum in China opened at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum in Taiwan. Check out some of the pictures of the opening!
